Mr. Boyle was, indeed, a big part of an impressionable time of our lives. He was the only teacher of an academic subject that I, or any of us for that matter, had for 3 consecutive years (I'm not counting band, choir or phys ed). I am grateful not just for the solid grounding he gave me in math, but also for learning how to look at a problem and then to stick to your guns if you know you had the right solution.
